Cheviot drive are a duo from Bathurst consisting of Tameka Kennedy (18 yrs) and Ash Sproule (19yrs). The country/pop duo have played almost 100 gigs just this year including events such as the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Ash Sproule is a 19 year old singer and guitarist who has recently moved to Bathurst to work and play music. Although from the city, she loves her country music and has played at venues all over NSW.
Tameka Kennedy is an 18 year old guitarist and singer from Bathurst. In late 2017 she came 2nd place in a prestigious songwriting contest called “fRETfEST” which sent her to the Tamworth Country Music Festival to play on one of the main stages and scored a brand-new guitar. Tameka has been gigging around the central west for a couple of years and loves what she does.
Tameka and Ash joined Rick Nash on Rick’s Music Mix and performed a couple of song covers and their first original song ‘Hands In’, live in the FM107.5 studio.
