“Friday Afternoons with Geoff Langdon”
Geoff joined FM107.5 in mid 2008 as a presenter just “to do a favour for” someone who was going to be away for a while!
And here it is, many years later – since moving on from his previous show, A Big Country Lunch, Geoff is still a valuable part of FM107.5 broadcasting Friday Afternoons with Geoff Langdon on Fridays between 12 noon and 4 pm.
Geoff has some popular Australian favourites with Slim Dusty being “right up there” as Number One – as well as Troy Cassar-Daley, Melinda Schneider and Tanya Kernaghan. You’ll also hear overseas country greats like Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Trish Yearwood, Randy Travis and Allan Jackson. His favourite music is country, which includes country gospel.
Geoff enjoys talking with country music artists, either live in the studio or by phone, and he has interviewed Catherine Britt, Amber Lawrence & Jason Owen, Adam Harvey, Ray Kernaghan, Tania Kernaghan and Karen Lynne, just to name a few.
Geoff also “fills in” for a variety of other types of programmes when presenters are away and covers all sorts of other music genres.
Geoff is a Baptist Pastor, a Chaplain with the Rural Fire Service, an ex-farmer and a family man and he and his wife enjoy their three children and love spending time with their seven grandchildren.
